Celebrating 15 Years with Amanda Seager!

This weekend, we’re celebrating a very special milestone – 15 years of outstanding service from our Regional Manager, Amanda Seager!

Amanda joined Damira in August 2010 as our very first Area Manager and has been an integral part of our growth ever since. From helping practices like South Ham find their new home to taking on multiple practices overnight, Amanda has tackled every challenge with dedication, humour, and passion.

Looking back on her journey, Amanda shares:
“I remember my interview at Havant like it was yesterday. I walked away thinking, ‘OMG, I really want this job!’ When I got the call saying I was successful, the lady on the phone said she had never heard a reaction like it.”

Her early days were full of big challenges and big achievements – re-siting South Ham, managing the overnight acquisition of four new practices, and winning the Outstanding Contribution Award at one of our summer balls. Along the way, she’s also had what she fondly calls her “ditzy moments” – from getting lost in a hotel to broken glasses incidents that colleagues still laugh about today.

When asked why she’s stayed with Damira for 15 years, Amanda’s answer is simple:
“The answer is Anushika. She is so generous, supportive and forgiving for any mistakes you make – and I’ve had my fair share. She always said, ‘You will retire with me,’ and although I’m not quite ready yet, she was right, as she mostly always is!”

Amanda, thank you for your incredible commitment, humour, and loyalty over the past 15 years. You’ve made a remarkable impact on Damira, and we look forward to many more milestones together.
