Payment Plan Membership from Patient Plan Direct
How to join Damira Payment Plan?
It’s easy – You can join a Damira Dental practice as a payment plan patient or switch to Damira payment plan if you are already a Damira patient. Simply find your nearest practice and ask our friendly team.
For Damira Essentials, there is no initial oral health check needed and pre-existing conditions are covered so you can sign up straight away. Find out more about Damira payment plan’s here.
Damira Essentials membership terms
Damira Essentials dental plan is exclusively for Damira Essentials patients only. The monthly fee to cover two dental examinations, two dental hygiene visits and dental x-rays (subject to clinical examination) within a twelve-month period is maintained by Patient Plan Direct.
Patient Plan Direct collect your monthly payments and forward them directly to your dental practice. For patients on thee Essentials plan, you reserve the right to cancel your contract at any time however, if you cancel before payments equate to cover the services received/required you will pay the deficit. If you cancel your contract within the first 12 months, you will still be charged the full annual fees.
Your payment is collected by us monthly by Direct Debit. A one-off registration fee of £15 is required when you join.
Cover does not include pre-planned treatment or treatment for injuries that take place before the cover started.
Adults are 18 years of age.
Damira Essentials membership does not cover:
- Any dental treatment other than an examination and hygiene appointment.
- Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures.
- Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment.
- Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment.
- Sedation fees.
- Emergency dental treatment provided by your own dentist or specialist acting on your dentists behalf
- Dental injury caused whilst training for or participating in contact sports, unless appropriate mouth protection is worn
- Mouth cancer diagnosed before joining or within 90 days after the date you joined your plan (or for which tests or consultations began within those 90 days)
- Mouth cancer situated in the tonsils
Damira Care membership terms
Damira Care dental plan is exclusively for Damira Care patients only. For patients on the Care plan, you must give us a minimum of 21 days’ notice to cancel your contract. If you cancel before payments equate to cover the services received/required you will pay the deficit. If you cancel your contract within the first 12 months, you will still be charged the full annual fees.
NHS treatment will not be mixed with Payment Plan membership. Cover does not include pre-planned treatment or treatment for injuries that take place before the cover started.

Damira Care membership does not cover:
- Laboratory fees for crowns, bridges and dentures.
- Prescriptions.
- Any treatment excluded by the dentist in your agreed contract, which is then payable by you.
- Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment.
- Treatment carried out other than by your dentist.
- Orthodontics, implants and cosmetic treatment.
- Sedations fees
- Extraction of wisdom teeth
- Treatment that is not clinically necessary
Damira membership: UK Emergency treatment terms
UK Emergency treatment applies when you’re more than 40 miles from your registered dental practice.
Your Supplementary Insurance does not cover: Emergency dental treatment provided by your own dentist or a dentist/specialist acting on your dentist’s behalf, Dental injury caused whilst training for or participating in contact sports, unless appropriate mouth protection is worn, Mouth cancer diagnosed before joining a payment plan or within 90 days after the date you joined your plan (or for which tests or consultations began within those 90 days), Mouth cancer situated in the tonsils.
