The Damira staff were all very helpful and friendly. I was examined & had X-rays taken. My options for treatment to my broken tooth were clearly explained & arranged. I was away on a weekend break and developed an abscess very painful I approached another branch of Damira dental surgery they accessed my records and saw me within hours gave me the required antibiotics! Meet the team

Elyse joined Damira as a trainee dental nurse in 2020 and quickly fell in love with dentistry. She qualified at Bank Buildings, before being promoted to assistant manager, and now recently dual site business manager of Bank Buildings & Bishops Stortford. Elyse takes pride in creating a personal experience for every patient receiving treatment, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and cared for within the practice. She loves to share her passion for dentistry with all.

In her free time Elyse enjoys Pilates, the gym, trips aboard & trying new foods!

She is passionate about improving smiles and enjoys creating bespoke treatment plans to meet her patients’ wishes while always keeping healthy teeth and gums the number one priority. She has developed a good reputation for going the extra mile, especially when treating nervous patients and children.

Helen is a member of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons. She has completed a year-long course to receive a Certificate in Restorative Dentistry and has also completed additional training in advanced oral surgery skills. Helen is a certified Invisalign provider and loves using minimally invasive treatments such as composite bonding and whitening to create dramatic smile transformations.

He is always looking to refine and enhance his clinical skills to improve his practice as a General Dentist, with a special interest in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry. Away from the surgery, Usman enjoys keeping fit, travelling to new destinations and spending time with his family.

Madeleine Girgis has been practicing general dentistry since 2009. She moved to the UK in 2015 and has furthered her expertise through postgraduate dental studies there.

She is a member of the Joint Dental Faculties of the UK (MJDF UK) and holds a higher License in Dental Surgery (LDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She provides a full range of dental services, including clear aligners. Understanding that dental treatment can be unpleasant, she strives to make these treatments as pain-free as possible.

Kate has an immense passion for Dental Hygiene and the whole health concept, believing that the mouth is the mirror of the body. She is always looking for new challenges and is as passionate today about Dental Hygiene as she was 27 years ago. Kate joined Bank Buildings Practice in 1999 and firmly believes that changing attitudes and awareness of bleeding gums, periodontal health, and whole mouth care could have a dramatic effect on whole health. She takes a calm and friendly approach with every patient and believes that helping patients feel comfortable is an important part of their dental experience. She enjoys getting to know her patients and discussing treatment options with them, helping them to feel involved in their care and confident about looking after their teeth.
