Meet the team
Marienella Harrington
Practice Manager
Marienella has been with Damira since August 2015, helping to provide the best dental care to patients at both Damira Island Health and Damira Docklands. She has progressed from helping both practices as a receptionist to being a Trainee Dental Nurse, and has gained her National Diploma in Dental Nursing with NEBDN. She is now Practice Manager and continues to support all patients in every way possible.
Marta Calderon
Dentist, GDC No. 184447
Marta qualified in 2003 from the European University in Madrid and has been practicing in Spain for five years as a private Orthodontist at her family dental practice. She made the decision to move with her husband to England in 2010, joining Damira Docklands and quickly becoming a valued member of the dental team. Aidin Mehrparvar

Aidin qualified from Queen’s University Belfast and has been living in the UK since he moved from Iran when he was 16. He enjoys providing high quality routine dental treatment, and has a special interest in providing cosmetic treatments such as Invisalign, teeth whitening and Smile Makeovers. In his free time you can find him watching football, exploring new areas and spending time with his friends.

Amin graduated from Queen Mary University in 2021. He has a special interest in restorative dentistry and oral surgery, constantly seeking further education and skill development opportunities. With an innate attention to detail, Amin takes pride in his exceptional chair-side manner, ensuring that patients feel at ease while listening and addressing their concerns
Outside of dentistry, football is Amin’s first love, and he is a lifelong Manchester United fan. He also enjoys traveling, exploring different parts of the world, and immersing himself in different cultures.
Swaathy Peter
Dental Therapist GDC No. 304450
Swaathy is a dedicated and caring dental care professional at Damira Docklands Practice. She uishighly motivated to provide top-notch dental care while staying updated on the latest industry advancements. Specialising in the preventative aspect of dentistry,, Swaathy focuses on offering prophylactic non-surgical periodontal therapy and health education to raise awareness about oral hygiene practices. After qualifying as a dentist from Mar Baselios Dental College in 2019, under the Kerala University of Health & Sciences, she spent two years as a general dental practitioner in India. Upon relocating to the UK in 2021, Swaathy registered as a Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist with the GDC in 2022, joining Damira Dental Studios in March 2023. Beyond dentistry, Swaathy enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new places, and travelling.
