Composite Bonding Loughborough

This is one the newest treatment plans available to help transform your smile. It uses a similar composite resin used for white fillings, but we use this to sculpt and transform your smile. Rather than creating a crown or restoration in an external lab, we can apply the resin directly to your teeth and then cure it with UV light. This allows us to shape and polish it to help change small imperfections. It’s a great choice for things like small gaps, discoloration that doesn’t respond to whitening, chips, cracks and short teeth. The treatment can be completed in just one visit, with no downtime, so you can get on with your day.

For treatment applied to a single tooth, this is commonly referred to as composite bonding. When it is applied to multiple teeth, this is known as composite veneers. This allows us to deliver results similar to porcelain veneers, but for a much lower cost. We can either apply resin to each tooth at once, or we can use a mould designed to fit over your teeth and then inject the resin before curing it with UV light. The result is similar to porcelain veneers, as we can achieve a full smile transformation. While composite veneers will last for around 5 years, a porcelain veneer could last for around 12 years with good care.
