Band 1

There are three standard charges for all NHS dental treatments. Band 1 covers an examination, diagnosis and advice.

NHS Band 1 (£26.80) covers:

  • Planning for further treatment
  • Diagnosis
  • Examination
  • Scale and Polish*

Band 2

This covers all treatment covered by Band 1, plus additional treatment including fillings, root canal treatment and tooth extractions.

NHS Band 2 (£73.50) covers:

  • Advice
  • Diagnosis
  • Fillings
  • Root canal treatment
  • Extractions

Band 3

This covers all treatment covered by Band 1, Band 2, plus additional treatment including crowns, dentures and bridges.

NHS Band 3 (£319.10) covers:

  • Crowns
  • Dentures
  • Bridges

Meet the team

Paulo Moreira


Dr. Paulo Moreira qualified in 2019 at the University of Cespu, School of Dentistry in Porto, Portuga. Having overcome his own “dental phobia” rooted in childhood experiences, he empathises deeply with patients’ fears and works tirelessly to ease their anxieties.

Understanding the importance of patient empowerment and clear communication, Dr. Moreira prioritises creating a welcoming and relaxed environment. He believes in ensuring patients are fully informed about their treatment options and actively involved in decision-making, fostering trust and confidence in their dental care.

Adebola Debo-Aina


Adebola Debo-Aina graduated from the Dental School College of Medicine at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, in 1984. Driven by a passion for helping those in pain, she pursued a career in dentistry. Now, as a valued member of the team at Damira Penge, Adebola remains dedicated to the holistic dental well-being of all our patients.

Fathima Rincy Areekkan


Fathima graduated in 2019 as a dentist from KMCT Dental College in India and is now registered with the GDC as a dental hygienist and dental therapist. She in particularly interested in preventing gum disease and remains dedicated to advancing her expertise in modern dentistry. To stay up-to-date with the latest advancements, she actively participates in professional development opportunities, such as courses on Guided Biofilm Therapy and teeth whitening.

Fathima enjoys tailoring oral hygiene advice to each patient’s individual dental needs. Moreover, she prioritises patient comfort, with an emphasis on building long-lasting relationships and patient-centred care.
