The goal of an emergency dental appointment is to quickly diagnose the issue and find the fastest solution. We start with an examination of your mouth and a history of the symptoms. We may take X-rays to get a better look at the teeth and jaw structures. If the solution is simple enough, like a filling or extraction, then treatment may be completed on the same day.

For more complex treatment, like a root canal, we’ll arrange a follow-up appointment. We may prescribe antibiotics or pain relief to help address the pain and discomfort. Patients are welcome to continue treatment with us, or return to their usual dental practice for follow-up care.
