Meet the team
Nicola Hillier
Hygienist, GDC No. 5624
Nicola Hillier has worked in dentistry since 1985. She started as a trainee dental nurse and qualified in 1998 while serving in the RAF. In 1998 she went to Kings College in London until 2000 where she qualified as a dental hygienist. As well as enjoying treating all levels of gum disease, Nicola also enjoys the cosmetic side of the hygiene treatments. Nicola will always try her best to help patients achieve their best smile.
Kelly Ward
Practice Manager
Kelly has now been with the practice for nearly 24 years and is a dedicated member of Damira. She originally joined South Ham in 1996 as a trainee dental nurse, then became a Qualified Dental Nurse in 2007 and has since worked her way from Head Dental Nurse to Deputy Practice Manager and today is Practice Manager.
Ami Sutarwala
Dentist, GDC No. 138439
Ami is an experienced general practitioner and has been with Damira South Ham since 2010. She is very interested in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, smile designing and adult orthodontics. Her excellent chair-side manner, eye for optimum aesthetics and her gentle reassuring approach has made her very popular among patients. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies and travelling.
Akeel Sharafali
Dentist, GDC No. 229268
Akeel has provided general dentistry since graduating from the University of Sheffield in 2012 and has developed a passion for endodontics. He is currently in his final year of pursuing a Masters at King’s College London. Akeel believes in delivering the highest level of patient care with the least discomfort and strives to make nervous patients always feel at ease.
Faisal Hussain

Faisal graduated from the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2004. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and believes in a patient-orientated and minimally invasive approach in order to make his patients feel at ease and so that they receive the highest level of patient care possible.
Tendai Dzvuke
Dentist, GDC No. 244739
Tendai offers a range of NHS and cosmetic treatments such as teeth straightening, whitening, botox and fillers. She attends regular training courses and has gained a prestigious PG Certificate in Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. Tendai also enjoys tennis, reading, travelling and singing in her spare time.
