We can then shape it to help restore small chips or cracks, uneven edges and even small gaps. Since we can choose the colour of the resin, it can also provide a whitening effect. Once the desired shape is achieved, the resin is cured with UV light and then polished. This treatment is completed in just one visit, so there’s no waiting for indirect restorations like a crown or veneer.

With composite veneers, we can replicate the results of porcelain veneers, but in a shorter time and for a much lower cost. As the materials are very different, there are some limitations to this treatment that patients should be aware of.
