This treatment is completed in just one visit, as we can apply the resin material directly to your teeth and then shape it as required. This is much faster than treatments like veneers and crowns, as these restorations have to be created in a lab. With good care, composite bonding can last for around 5 years before it starts to wear away.

Composite bonding refers to the procedure, but it can be applied to a single tooth, or it can be used across all of your teeth. When we cover the top front teeth with composite bonding, this is known as composite veneers, and it’s a cost-effective alternative to porcelain veneers. We can either shape each tooth individually, or we can use an injection mould to first create your perfect smile, and then place this over your teeth and fill it with resin. The result is a dramatic transformation that looks similar to veneers. The main difference is in the lifespan of this treatment, as composite veneers will last for around 5 years, while porcelain can last for up to 15 years.
