The purpose of an emergency dental appointment is to quickly understand the cause of the problem and provide relief from your pain. In some cases, this will be immediate treatment, and in other cases we might provide a stop-gap solution to help alleviate your discomfort until you can arrange follow-up treatment. We’ll start with a history of the problem, and then we’ll examine your teeth and gums, taking X-rays as required. Once we understand the cause of the problem, we can create a treatment plan.

For simple treatments like fillings or extractions, we might even be able to do this on the same day. The goal is for you to leave the practice free from pain.
