Tsering started in Damira just over 5 years ago as a Trainee Dental Nurse. She has progressed to become a Treatment Co-ordinator and is now today the Practice Manager at Damira Wellum House.

Dr Adriana Rolim qualified in 2012 University of Lisbon.

Adriana provides a nurturing atmosphere for her patients in surgery. She provides both NHS and private general dental services. When she is not at the practice she enjoys travelling and spending time with her three dogs.

Dr Fatima Asfandyar qualified in 2015 with a BDS degree and got her MClinDent degree in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry. Fatima has a specialist interest in crowns, implants, and Veneers. Fatima provides an energetic atmosphere for her patients in surgery and is passionate about oral health education.

Dr Felicia Rovitto qualified in 2004 from Zahnarzt Technical University of Dresden.

She provides a calm atmosphere for her patients in surgery. She provides both NHS and private dental services including several different tooth straightening systems such as Invisalign and 6 month smile.  Felicia is an avid runner and has completed several half marathons.

Dr Gary Elmblad has over 28 years of experience in practising general dentistry and has a passion for providing dental care in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Having qualified from the Faculty of Odontology in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1995, he has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and has won an award for being skilled in orthodontics.

Gary provides Invisalign treatment at the practice and offers late appointments to make this more accessible for his patients. He speaks multiple languages and enjoys spending his free time staying fit through cycling and martial arts.

Dr John Cavanagh has been with Damira Wellum House for the last 34 years and enjoys providing dental care for the children and grandchildren of those patients who joined him at the practice all those years ago. He has a special interest in dental implants and other advanced cosmetic and restorative dentistry. John is also a keen cyclist and enjoys travelling.

Jas graduated from dental university in Mumbai in 2006. Since then, she has established herself in a busy practice in North London where she had worked for the 8 years before joining the Damira family. In this time, she studied diploma in Restorative and Aesthetics dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, London. In her 17 years of dental practice, she has aspired to be an excellent and caring dental practitioner through further postgraduate training from London in multiple disciplines of dentistry.

Hashem, a distinguished graduate with first-class honours from Charles University in Prague, became a member of our practice in January 2023. Devoted to delivering top-notch patient-centred care across all facets of general dentistry, Hashem goes the extra mile to ensure his patients leave with a smile on their face.

Driven by a desire for continuous improvement, Hashem is eager to further his education and training, particularly in the field of oral surgery.

Outside the clinic, Hashem embraces an active lifestyle, finding joy and challenge on the rugby field. Physical fitness isn’t just a routine for him; it’s a way of life. When not in scrubs or on the field, he indulges his love for exploration and cultural immersion through travel.

Ahmed graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2015 and completed his foundation training in London by September 2016. Since then Ahmed has been developing his clinical skills whilst delivering predominantly private dentistry.

He enjoys a calming demeanour which means patients, particularly the more anxious, can be at ease during consultations and treatment. Ahmed is particularly interested in performing more challenging root canals, complex extractions and implants. He also enjoys undertaking cosmetic work and veneers. He is currently training to place more advanced implants working towards his Diploma.

Away from work, Ahmed enjoys hiking, travelling and CrossFit. He has three beautiful daughters which take up any of his spare time.

Dr. Dirk Van Der Spuy qualified with a BDS from the Universidad Cathólica de Valencia in Spain. He has an interest in pursuing restorative dentistry, while patient care being his highest priority. Trying to put his patients at ease in a calm environment. Driven by a passion for improving smiles and oral health, Dr. Van Der Spuy believes in empowering patients through education and preventative care, always aiming to provide treatments that enhance overall health and confidence.

Originating from South Africa, he enjoys spending time on the beach in Cape Agulhas or with his family at home.

Jeshina Rai is a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist who graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2023. With a passion for enhancing oral health, she focusses on preventive care, including professional cleanings, periodontal assessments and treatments, and personalised oral hygiene guidance. She is dedicated to empowering patients through education, helping them achieve confident, healthy smiles.

Known for her gentle touch and friendly approachable demeanour, Jeshina ensures every patient feels at ease and well cared for during their dental visits. Outside work, she loves exploring new destinations, staying active, and spending time with her family and friends.

Maria Tariq is an overseas qualified dentist working as a dental hygienist. She qualified in 2018 and worked as a private associate dentist for almost 2 years before moving to the UK in 2021. She got her DCP registration in dental hygiene and has been working as a dental hygienist in the UK since May 2022. Maria believes in delivering optimum hygiene care with personalised advice for each patient. She enjoys spending her free time travelling and socialising with friends.

Usha Lama qualified as a dentist in Nepal in 2018 and later moved to the UK to continue her dental career. During this time, she worked as a Dental Nurse in several UK dental practices, gaining valuable experience in both NHS and private settings and becoming familiar with UK dental care standards.

Usha is registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Therapist and now works as a Dental Therapist and Hygienist. She provides a range of preventive, periodontal, and restorative treatments, always taking a gentle and thoughtful approach to care.

Usha is a kind and caring clinician who understands that dental visits can feel overwhelming for some patients. She takes time to listen, explain treatments clearly, and help patients feel relaxed and comfortable at every appointment. With her international background and UK experience, Usha is committed to supporting patients with calm, compassionate, and high-quality dental care.

Salwa joined Damira with a focus on preventive dentistry and patient led care; making sure the quality of life of her patients is not compromised because of their teeth. She holds MSc degree in Health and Development from University College London. Her interest is mainly in restoring teeth, supporting her patients to enjoy eating, speaking and smile with confidence. Her future quest is advancing her skills in domain of restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

Outside dental clinic, she enjoys to explore life through cooking, travelling and being close to nature. She is a vivid supporter of community welfare health activities.
