Does Jalupro work straight away?
Patients may feel an immediate improvement thanks to the hydrating effect, but it can take a few weeks before the real results of treatment start to be noticed – as the Jalupro encourages the body to produce its own anti-ageing collagen and elastin.
After a month the skin feels smoother, softer, tighter and plumper. At this point a second treatment is needed to fully stimulate the collagen and elastin production for optimal results.
How long should a Jalupro treatment take?
The treatment itself could be as quick as 10 minutes, depending on the number of areas to be treated.
Is Jalupro vegetarian/ vegan?
The product is vegan.
Hyaluronic acid is vegan as it is derived from plant extracts or artificially synthesized.
Is Jalupro painful?
Does Jalupro hurt? When administered by a trained professional you should experience minimal discomfort. Numbing cream will be applied prior to the treatment to further reduce discomfort.
The product is injected in small ‘deposits’, you may be able to see them initially, but they settle usually within hours. It may be possible to feel the product where it has been injected under the skin. Don’t worry this will settle, there is no need to massage
Will I have bruises from Jalupro treatment?
A small amount of swelling or bruising at the injection points is possible.There might be redness, swelling or tenderness in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injections and will generally disappear within a few days, if it’s still present after 72 hours or is worsening please contact the practice.
How long will it last?
Results can last up to 6 months then will need a maintenance treatment. Jalupro continues to work weeks after each treatment.
To maximise results and to make significant differences to lines, folds wrinkles and dark circles, repeat treatment may be required, 7-10 days apart.
